Lord of the Fries – National Fry Day

Listen up y’all, this is your PFA (Public Fries Announcement): Friday the 13th of July marks National Fry Day, and to celebrate we’re giving out FREE FRIES (yes, free!) from 1pm – 2pm.

Head down to your local store to receive a serve of our shoe string fries in an LOTF cup with a classic sauce and enjoy the crispy deliciousness that is potato – completely free!

We know that spuds often get a bad wrap… But we’re peeling back the facts and giving you ‘The Lord’s 101’ on fries that you didn’t know you needed.

Before you question why there’s a whole day dedicated to them, you should know that fries’ golden glory was centuries in the making. It’s said the dish dates back as far as the 1600s, stemming from Belgian’s love of fried potato, or frites.

Fries are the gift that keep on giving and have come a long way since their Belgium days. We’ve got thick, thin, curly, waffle, long or short, sweet or normal – it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Go on, fry lovers, tantalise your tastebuds this Friday the 13th.

Keep it crispy e’rrybody,
The Lords
